Last blog for a while

Well this is the last blog that I will be doing for a while. We are getting a break off of blogger because of our journals for our senior project. I am glad we are pretty well done with blogger because I could never think of anything to write or I forgot to do it. As you can tell I am doing this last minute so I forgot to do my last one till tonight. Hopefully I get my full credit for doing my 4!

Street painting

Last night was the night we painted the streets of Newell. I of course attended this and painted my name on the street. I used a mop to paint my name so it is in big bold letters with my football number by it. I used almost a gallon of white paint to do it. But I think that my name is the best wrote one down there.

Homecoming week

Well it has been ok so far. I am really not feeling the spirit this year for some reason. I don't like the dress up days that we have had so far. But I have been dressing up and I think I have been doing a dang good job at dressing up also. The girls put up a good effort last night at the game but Belle is an extremely good team.

HOMECOMING

Today is the first day of homecoming and of course we had to put the warm dress up day on the coldest day of the week. Beach day is pretty good, but not very many people dressed up because of the cold. I am wearing a bro tank with swim trunks, flippers, and goggles and a snorkel. I am freezing cold and I'm debating on weather to wear this the rest of the day. Class is easy thank goodness and hopefully this week is easy.

Thursday

Last day of the school week. Finally the first 3 day weekend we have had since we started school and we are 4 weeks into it. What is up with that Mr. Dahlberg? I hate school and this is the first 3 day weekend we had yet. But hopefully we have a lot more 3 day weekends.

Wednesday

Well Wednesday was a terrible day for Prestyn. Mrs. Reedy yelled at me the whole hour and I did absolutely nothing. Mrs. J was just rambling on when none of us understood what we were doing so I got in trouble for saying something. Then I got to go and mess around after that. Cameron showed me a legit song and then I went to football practice.

Tuesday

We only have a 4 day week this week thank goodness. I was getting tired of going for 5 days. I can't wait to sleep in on Friday and then relax all day then go to a football game. I didn't come home with a new pickup from the roping. I roped decent but didn't get very many turned so I could rope them.

Monday

I wasn't here for the first 2 hours of the day, cause I had to go and get a new cast because I broke my other one at the football game the other night. We beat Rapid City Christian 32 to 14. We played a good game and played with our hearts cause it was tied at halftime. We play Timber Lake this Friday in Timber Lake. Hopefully, we can come home with another win and become 4-0 going into homecoming week.

Game Day

Today is the day that we play our 3rd football game of the season. We are undefeated  going into this game so hopefully we can play like we can and we should stay undefeated. But if we don't play like we can it may not be good for us and excellent for the other team. I am playing with a broken hand so I am going to have a big club on my left hand which is going to be awesome. Hopefully we play good, the wind dies down, and we can come away with a W.

Wednesday

We are half way through the week and the they are going by slow. One more day till I go and get my hand looked at. Then there is 3 more days till the big Pickup roping that I am going to and going to. I have been practicing roping a lot after football practice and trying to prepare. Hopefully this Saturday goes good and I can drive away in a new pickup.

Tuesday

Well I went to the doctor to see what is wrong with my hand. We took x-rays of it to see if we could find out what was wrong. We couldn't figure out entirely what is wrong with so now I am going to a Orthopedic doctor look at it on Thursday. So hopefully we find out what is wrong with it and can get it fixed for football and so I can rope. I am going to go rope after football practice so hopefully everything goes well.

Weekend

My weekend was pretty fun besides the fact that I am typing with one hand. I am pretty sure that I broke my hand playing football. We won our football game 40 to 16 and I had a sack and forced interception. I went to a roping yesterday and did pretty good. I cleared $190 which will help me pay for my next roping.

Friday

Today is Friday! Last day of the school week! We get out early have barely any homework beside what Ms. Winker assigned, which is a lot. I hope I can get it done this weekend but I will because I want out of this place. Going to do a lot of roping and go to a football game this weekend.

Thursday

One more day of school left... Thank goodness. It is still hotter than hades in this school and it is suppose to be getting even hotter. Hopefully they call school off so I can go home and sleep. Then wake up and go rope. But we only have 2 days left till our football game. Time to knock some heads and score some points.

Wednesday

Well today is Wednesday that means we are half way through the school week thank goodness! I am already tired of school and it always being hot. I am passing all my classes I believe and I hope I can keep it up. I am ready for our football game on Saturday in Edgemont. Hopefully we can kick some but.

My weekend

Well my weekend consisted of going to Huron, SD for a rodeo. I did ok at the rodeo, I placed 6th in the Steer Wrestling average and 7th in the Team Roping average. I wish I would have done better but that is rodeo. Then I drove back to Newell on Sunday so I could be at 8 o'clock slack on Monday in the Newell Labor Day rodeo which I ended up winning the Team roping with my dad. Then I went and roped for the rest of the day.
